Salary £20,150 - £23,023 pro rata per annum. 22.5 hours a week. 6 month contract.

Northampton Psychology Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join their growing team of Clinical Psychologists in delivering high quality and individualised psychological assessment and intervention to children and adults.

Northampton Psychology Practice is a private practice providing a wide range of psychological services to individuals across the lifespan. The team work with individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, trauma, physical health difficulties and behavioural difficulties. The practice also provides expert witness assessments and assessment of learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will be working under the clinical supervision of a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist to support delivery of services provided by Northampton Psychology Practice, as well as contributing to services offered by The Autism Practice, Northampton Psychology’s autism service.

The role is an opportunity for those seeking experience of working within the field of clinical psychology to join an expanding private practice and contribute to delivery of psychological assessment and intervention, and service development.

The post is based in Northampton town centre, with travel across county as required. Hours of work are flexible between the core working hours of 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday though there is an expectation that the post holder will make reasonable efforts to work flexibly within these core hours on their allocated working days to meet the needs of the service.

The post is subject to a DBS check, the cost of which will be covered by Northampton Psychology Practice.
