Newcastle 2014

Post by Holly 22 » Thu May 15, 2014 1:36 pm

Hi there,

I know it's still a little bit early but I have accepted a place at Newcastle and being very excited and giddy I couldn't wait to see if there are any fellow Newcastlers who wanted to say hello!

I will be moving to the area for the course so would be useful if anyone had any advise on best places to live etc :D

Hi Sally! What day did you interview? Will you be moving to the area or are you already in Newcastle?

Am so excited!! It's all still sinking in and i keep rechecking the email! Ha!

I'm starting at Newcastle too, I'm from the area so very lucky for me to have gotten my first choice...especially as I was 15th reserve for interviews!! Very exciting! I did my first degree at Northumbria so if you need to know anything about the region I'm happy to help :)

Look forward to meeting you all!

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard anything else from Newcastle yet? I'd emailed last week to see when we'd be starting (15th Sept by the way) and they said they would be sending some info out at the end of last week, provisional timetables etc, but I've not received anything yet. Has anyone received this info?

Thanks

Hello Newcastlers! :D :D

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything else from Newcastle yet?
I've received my pack with the provisional timetable in, have completed the DBS link but not heard anything else.
I'm not panicking (yet) but just wondering whether we should have had some more information by now...

Also, are any of you going to the meet-up on the 13th? I'll be there (providing I can find a hotel for the night!)

Look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks

Sally

Hey!
I haven't been on here in ages; glad to see you guys on here! I'm also glad to learn I was not the only one who was checking and rechecking the name on my acceptance! ; ) I'm going for a bit on the 13th and I am looking forward to meeting you guys.

Welcome in advance fellow Newcastlers! I'm a current Newcastle trainee, and if I can be of any help at all, please do PM me or mail me on this thread, and I'll do anything I can to help. Looking very much forward to having more clinpsy-ers here! Jolly well done all. :D
