Liverpool 2020

Post by janus » Thu May 21, 2020 9:03 pm

Feels surreal to be posting in here! But I am absolutely thrilled to be accepting a place at Liverpool. It would be great to hear from anyone else who has accepted or will be accepting a place at Liverpool too 😊

Hi both! Congratulations!! It's so exciting to 'meet' you! I'm still in shock too! It feels amazing. I got such a good impression from Liverpool from the interview, questions they asked, and from reading about them. How are you guys feeling 😊

Are you guys local or will you be moving / long distance commuting? I'm in Leeds (with a house, cat and partner) so still yet to decide what I'm going to be doing!

Should we create a Facebook group too?

heyyy congratulations to you too! SO excited and still haven't processed it properly, feeling a bit of 'impostor syndrome' but of course just so happy :D

I actually enjoyed my liverpool interview, they were so patient and kind are really did try and get the best out of me. I have heard such good things about how supportive the course is and feel like it's the right course for me.

Yes let's start a facebook group for first years, I guess we'll have to be using these online platforms to get to know each other most likely even in September so would be good to get one going!

I am living in London at the moment so will mean a move up north for me. I did my undergraduate at Liverpool so at least familiarity is on my side :P

Great to hear 😊 Yeah it was my first ever DClin interview and I'm grateful it was such a good experience! I know some courses are not as supportive and friendly in their interview style.

Oh okay cool, nearer to the time I may pick your brain about where you're thinking about living, etc. 😉

I've created a Facebook group:

Someone else created a group just after me haha so I've deleted mine.
