Would it help to have a LiveChat to prepare for interviews?

Post by miriam »

I was just wonderng whether it would help to have a LiveChat to prepare for interviews - for example to discuss a paper, or research or clinical vignettes, or how to manage interview nerves?

I would definitely appreciate this Miriam. I guess the only issue is that a lot of interviews are pretty much underway so to be fair for everyone it would need to be quite soon!

So, when would be a good time?

I'm generally better in the evenings - but I'm quite busy after tonight for about a fortnight. So, for me, either 9pm tonight, or the easter weekend would be the choices, though it might be that people want to arrange a peer-support like chat or use another of the mod/admin team in the meanwhile?

I am not able to rock up to this, but miriam's offer shows a great deal of consideration to those going through interviews at the moment...

My post was meant jokingly, I would really appreciate the help, I didn't mean that watching the apprentice is more important to me! I am happy with 9pm. Do you need a certain number of people?

Thanks for agreeing to this on such short notice Miriam, you're a star.

Would it be cheeky for me to ask if I can join in after apprentice?! I'm a big fan but will join in straight after if the discussion is still going. If not I totally understand.

You can watch the Apprentice on the BBC i player! Did we agree a time? I'm here now but will hang around.

Many thanks for this Miriam - if there's anything I can do for the site, I will be happy to
