1. Anyone want a lovely 3 bed cottage near St Andrews? Perfecto for Fife or Tayside placements (hint, hint)
2. I'm knackered. I've scrubbed and painted until I'm a shadow of my former self.
3. Lovely marmalade. Great chunky shreds (Tiptrees)
4. Cat's looking a bit old
5. Thinking of everyone awaiting Edinburgh at the moment, and anywhere else.

Love the idea of Mojito-may! Jagermeister-June sounds like a much more appropriate sequelNat89 wrote:Can't believe mojito-may is nearly over and jam-packed-june will soon be upon me!

2. Very pleased with my charity shop purchases - 8 books and a nearly Cranium boardgame
3. So proud of my OH, who did the London to Brighton Night Ride last night in 5 hours 20 minutes
4. I wish I was on holiday
5. I can't believe it's nearly June - this year is flying by!

1. Wow, a busy weekend! In laws over to visit, a trip into London to see friends yesterday, and a third birthday party for my daughters with lots of friends and family over today. I have hardly had a moment to think, however I think everything went pretty well. Phew.
2. My girls love their new 'big girl beds', books and their play cash register the best of all their presents, which gives me some inner joy that they aren't yet corrupted by brand names and materialistic things. I made some very pink cupcakes and a very pink birthday cake
3. What a scorching day. The kids enjoyed the paddling pool but I could have done with a dip myself! I feel quite dazed from all the sun/heat.
4. My Dad got made a fellow of the royal photographic society. This is very good news, as he is very enthusiastic about portrait photography, and its nice for him to get some official recognition. Plus it gives him something constructive to focus on now he is retired.
5. I wish I could be a bit more zen-like about my inlaws. I hear myself moaning and mentally tag it #firstworldproblems and feel slightly ashamed
