I was hoping on Bath too - the interview wasn't a disaster but not good enough I guess. I'm out for this year assuming Bath will email my rejection as expected on Monday. Think I might have a baby now instead! :D

About 2pm and then again about 4:30. Both times was driving :( I tried to return their calls at about 2:30 and then just after 5 but no answer to either the number that called me or the main office number on our interview emails :(

So, after assuming a straight rejection Bath emailed to say I'm 7th on the reserve list. Feels like it's too low down for a place and had just about processed the assumed straight rejection so not sure how to feel...

Sending solidarity to anyone else frustrated/saddened/exhausted by the process!

I still haven't heard anything from Bath :( no email and no more phone calls today. Have emailed the admin address and attempted to call but not been able speak to anyone and no reply to my email. This process is so harsh.

Coming out of the woodwork after browsing quietly for a few months (A HUGE thank you to everyone who has contributed to the advice and information on this site! It is really valuable and very much appreciated!)

Extremely pleased to report this year:

Surrey -> Surrey !
UCL -> no interview
UEL
Royal Holloway

This was my 2nd application. 2016 yielded only a UCL (no interview), and this year I swapped IOP for Surrey which proved to be a good decision! Very excited!

Good luck to the rest of those waiting to hear/ on reserve lists and very best wishes to everyone! x

That is strange and must be so frustrating!! I hope you get some clarity today - good luck! Harsh is apt!

Laura-Rose and hiccough - I'll be coming to Surrey too!!! Can't believe it.
I interviewed on Monday (first batch so to speak) - how about you guys?
Shall we dare to start a thread on the courses forum? xx

So now it's looking like this:

cardiff
plymouth ----> plymouth
bath ----> bath
exeter

Hoping my feedback from Bath will be helpful as I thought it was a good interview. One more chance this year but still feeling quite dejected and struggling to remain hopeful!

I feel like my academic/research interviews are letting me down but not sure what else I can revise to improve :(

This is such a long and hard process, really feeling for everyone else in the same boat!

Has anybody else still not heard from Surrey? I'm assuming the worst at this point but it's stressful not to know the outcome for sure!

My outcomes so far:

Oxford
Coventry and Warwick
Bath 10th (not holding out hope)
South Wales

Last interview is tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it all being done for the year!

Exeter
Birmingham --> BIrmingham
Bath --> Bath - 6th reserve
Cardiff --> interviewed today, who knows!

I'm not holding out much hope for Bath, but would absolutely love a place. It was my first year applying and my goal was to get an interview and find out more about the process. I've got much further than I expected, but still finding it tough to be so close yet so far from a place at my #1 choice.
