Ucl PWP 2019
Re: Ucl PWP 2019
Hello everyone
I had my interview on Monday for Bexley and received an offer on Thursday. I was so overwhelmed, I cried on the phone. Bexley was my second choice but closer to home. I think the IAPT lead was freaked out by my reaction
. I really thought I had messed up my interview I found the questions quite difficult. This was my second pwp interview ( I'd applied for Solent/Southampton uni).
I think the course begins at the end of Sept. I was told that they need to inform UCL of the outcome then they will be in touch in regards to paperwork.

Hi guys! I got an offer as well on Tuesday for Barnet
As for the start date, I was told that there will be an intensive teaching block between 7th of October and 29th of November. You usually start in IAPT service a week before that. So I would definitely plan to finish with all of your arrangements before the 1st of October

Re: Ucl PWP 2019
I am gutted - I had a 10 day holiday pre booked for November (booked it back in December '18, so way before I even applied for the post) but because we are not allowed leave until Dec - I now can't take up my place in September! UCL have said they won't allow me the time off.
So I either have to cancel my holiday (and lose close to £5000 for me and my boyfriend) or wait and start in February
I am so gutted, I wish UCL had specified that on the application as it seems a little unfair to not honour a holiday that I can prove I booked last year!
...I guess I will be waiting until February to start

Does anyone know how much the trainee salary is? Also unsure if they mentioned a London weighting allowance? Thanks in advance!

Ahh this is such a shame!! Yeah it would be good if they put it in the booklet along with the other information. But hopefully feb will come around very quickly and you can start then!
Enjoy your holiday!

Re: Ucl PWP 2019
Hey everyone, so just completed the pre employment health questionnaire - it asked for evidence that I’ve had various vaccines but then said that the section is for health care workers who will be in contact with patients and specimens - unsure if I should still provide evidence? this could be v silly question, but just want to make sure I do it correctly so start date isn’t delayed haha.
Re: Ucl PWP 2019
I don't think you'll need to provide evidence as it is not an Exposure Prone Procedure role.ap20g14678 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 9:40 amHey everyone, so just completed the pre employment health questionnaire - it asked for evidence that I’ve had various vaccines but then said that the section is for health care workers who will be in contact with patients and specimens - unsure if I should still provide evidence? this could be v silly question, but just want to make sure I do it correctly so start date isn’t delayed haha.
Did your trust send you an offer of employment and has your UCL portal updated?
