Edinburgh CAAP 2020

Has anyone applied for the February 2020 Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology MSc at Edinburgh? We should hear this week if we're invited for interview - I've got everything crossed! If anyone working as a CAAP has any top tips for interview they would be extremely appreciated!

I also applied, and just got an email now saying I'm on the reserve list for the interview.
I'm a bit disappointed, as I'm not sure what the chances are of people dropping out of the interview

So, i've got interviews for both adult and child caap courses and if successful in the adult will most likely withdraw from child interview... So it is possible!

I've been offered an adult caap place so have emailed kirsty to withdraw from child caap interview.
Fingers crossed that means good news for someone...

Just curious whether anyone on the reserve interview list has been offered an interview? I'm just curious whether they'll offer on a rolling basis as people pull out or are waiting until after the response deadline (which I think is today).

Nope! Haven't heard anything yet...
I think they'll do the "waiting until after the response deadling" thing (but that's just a guess!)

Last year I got an interview and then a second interview and ended up on reserve list for the course (painful) - I’m wondering if whilst second interviews are going on, those on the reserve list for interview might get invited for a first interview or if that won’t be allowed as we have had interview materials for longer...

It was my first time applying and I got put on the reserve list for an interview. But I've not heard anything yet so not 100% sure.

I've now been taken from the reserve list for interview and given an interview for glasgow and fife. So scared because I was so nervous at my interview last year and totally fluffed it. Any tips? My friend has got a place and will be in Glasgow for placement which is where I'm also hoping for. Any advice on interview or what they seemed to focus on this year would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on getting an interview! Hope it goes well. I've not heard anything so I'm assuming I've not gotten an interview. Disappointed but life goes on. Let us know how you get on!

That's an attempt to cheat, right? You know that soliciting (or providing) information about interviews is prohibited on the forum? I'm guessing the course won't be too impressed to read that either, especially as you've made yourself identifiable to them...

That was not my intention at all, I thought I was just asking for some advice - not specific information about the interview. I am more than happy for you to delete my comment as I can't seem to do so myself.
