Can't quite believe it!!! Feeling very grateful and fortunate. Wishing everyone loads of luck and warm vibes - I had been through tough recruitment processes for my previous career, but nothing had quite prepared for me for how difficult this process would be to cope with and get through. It's a doozy - be kind to yourselves!!

First application (2023, a practice run before I'd even started my first AP post!)

Glasgow University
Edinbrugh University(suprised I even got an interview to start with)

Second Application (2024, First serious one)

Edinbrugh University
Glasgow University (wasn't called to interview sadly)
Newcastle University (I was number 2 on reserve interview list)

So so excited to be accepting my place at Newcastle University! Wishing everyone else going through the process so much luck :D

UEA
Essex ---> Essex - not surprised, interview was horrendous I even had to ask to skip some questions  it didn't help that the chair of the panel kept rolling his eyes and huffing & puffing either!
Hertfordshire
Exeter

Feelings of imposter syndrome are extremely strong atm!
