Interested in Existential therapy- do I need a qualification?
Hello
I am currently studying for my ProfDoc in Counselling psychology. I have become very interested in Existential therapy approaches and have been looking at workshops and training courses.
I have seen some courses for certificates, MA's and diplomas- but these seem to span over 1-2 years and are thousands of pounds. Is it necessary I receive some certification to use this approach or would I be able to take a short course and still incorporate this knowledge into my practice (with an appropriate supervisor)?
I have been looking at this course but I'm wondering if it's worth it: https://www.conted.ox.ac.uk/courses/int ... _container
Interested to know others' thoughts?
Thanks
